How do I develop a custom wireless application using the GP500C?
When integrating the GP500C into a custom design, the customer needs to take into account following steps:
 Software development: the customer can make use of the software provided by GreenPeak (PeakNet Z or PeakNet LPR). Alternatively, he can develop his own application on top of the IEEE 802.15.4 MAC layer of the GP500C.
Hardware development: GreenPeak has much experience when it comes to designing RF hardware. Take advantage of this knowledge by re-using parts of the schematics/layouts proposed by GreenPeak.
Compared to a module design, a design based on a chipset will take more development (i.e. for a module design the RF part and certification is already included in the module). Therefore we feel that for small volumes, it is best/cheaper to use a module solution.
